What EngravePrep does

EngravePrep is an iPhone and iPad app that prepares photos on-device and exports precisely sized monochrome PNG files. It provides crop, tone, polarity, dither, physical-size, and DPI controls for an existing laser workflow.

EngravePrep does not connect to or control laser hardware. It does not choose focus, speed, power, line interval, ventilation, material compatibility, or other machine settings.

Who writes the guides

Guides are published under the byline EngravePrep Editorial Team. This organizational byline avoids implying personal credentials that have not been publicly documented. Willow Glen Equity LLC is the publisher.

The team separates image-file guidance from machine and material guidance, links technical claims to named sources, and shows a review date on each guide.

Evidence, not simulated outcomes

A screen preview or generated illustration is not evidence of a physical engraving. EngravePrep does not present simulated burns as physical test results. When physical evidence is published, it must be identified as an actual test and accompanied by enough process context to understand what was tested.
